We’re so excited to introduce you to our newest designer at James & Sons: Roberto Coin! Italian jewelry designer, Roberto Coin, creates jewelry inspired by the beauty of the world. Each piece and its parts tell a story to showcase the true beauty that can be found in everything.
History of Roberto Coin
The brand was created in 1996 by Roberto Coin himself. The Italian jewelry designer takes inspiration from many places around the world, but is drawn towards his home of Italy. You can see his inspirations in collections like Love In Verona, which feature four-petal flowers at the heart of each piece. He took great inspiration from the classic Shakespeare tale of Romeo and Juliet. “In the medieval period, the time of Romeo and Juliet, can you imagine the hills of Verona? It was all natural flowers,” Coin explains. Other collections like Designer Gold, Perfect Diamond Hoops, and Tiny Treasures are full of beautiful staple pieces with impeccable attention to detail and careful craftsmanship. 
Each Roberto Coin piece includes a ruby hidden in the jewelry. This is also known as the Roberto Coin signature, and it is in direct contact with the skin of the wearer. Roberto Coin Necklace
This beautiful Princess Tassel Necklace is a part of the Tassel Collection from Roberto Coin. It features 0.50ctw of diamonds set in 18 karat yellow gold. The graduated gold beading gives way for physical movement in jewelry, making this piece exciting to wear.
Roberto Coin Bangles
Roberto Coin is known for creating two styles of bangles – oval and square. Oval bangles are traditional style bangles with the iconic Roberto Coin designs, like this white gold piece from the Love In Verona Collection.
