About Mary Kate & Cole

“Cole and Mary Kate first met at Houndstooth Saloon, a bar in Chicago that sits outside of Wrigley Field around 2016. Little did they know this bar would hold so much meaning, memories and friendships for them along the way. If you ask Mary Kate’s side of the story Cole was the one who pursued her first. She really didn't want to give her number to the guy in the "Guinness pajama pants". She did after all and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of her life. After many months of the two hanging out, all while being co-workers together Mary Kate proudly admits she was the one who said “I love you” first.

These two went on to make many memories. One of their favorite, getting a beautiful apartment on the lakefront right down the street from their favorite baseball stadium, which is really where this romance owes its start! Cole proposed to Mary Kate on the bow of the Columbia Yacht Club on March 27th, 2021, six years to their exact first date. It was a windy but beautiful moment that brought tears to Mary Kate’s eyes as the Yacht Club holds many memories for them, while their two good friends recorded the whole thing! She said “YES” with zero hesitation and the two celebrated with their friends "popping" champagne at Pop's for Champagne!”
