“Dan and I started dating a little out of high school. Having mutual friends it was easy to get to know each other and build a relationship but best of all it allowed us to grow personally as well as together as a couple. After 6 long years, Dan planned a romantic night in downtown Naperville, IL during my favorite time of the year in Sept. 2018. We enjoyed an amazing dinner at Rosebuds with a trip to Starbucks for one of my favorite autumn treats – a Pumpkin Spiced Latte. I had always said that if he were to propose I wanted a nice evening to enjoy to ourselves, and he truly delivered! Once we got our coffee, we took a nice walk along the Naperville River Walk, where asked me to marry him and I absolutely wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Since our engagement, we have bought our first home, gotten married, started building a life with our dog, Phoebe, and overall have been together 10 years. We will be celebrating our second wedding anniversary in September and will be welcoming our first child in November. James and Sons has been our “go-to” jeweler from my engagement ring, to our wedding bands, and even my anniversary band that Dan gave me for our 1 year anniversary. The quality of their jewelry, eagerness to accommodate us and their excellent customer service is what keeps us always coming back! ”
