I'm thrilled to announce that James & Sons Orland Park & Schererville are open for business! We could not be happier to be welcoming you in store with the same professional service we've provided for over 56 years. Whether you're looking for an engagement ring, gift for a loved one, jewelry repair or that special watch you've been dreaming of, the James & Sons team is here for you. 

We are taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of our customers and teammates. Thankfully, brand new jewelry and watches are very clean to begin with. Fingerprints on these beautiful items drive us crazy, so we are used to keeping them spotless. However, in today’s world, spotless is not good enough. Today, if a teammate or client handles an item, instead of returning it to the display, we set the items in a glass bowl of isopropyl alcohol to be sanitized in the back. Back in the jewelers room, we remove the item from the alcohol and complete the process by steam cleaning the ring at temperatures in excess of 200 degrees Fahrenheit. After that process, the item is placed back on it’s display. It stays ready for a customer to try on and enjoy! Alongside those precautions, we are also following social distancing and face mask guidelines as well as other health and safety guidelines.

Our Chicago store is open as well, but not available for in-store shopping yet. Depending on your needs, we hope to accommodate you with our new virtual appointment and curbside pickup services available at all 3 stores. Give us a call at the stores as we are here to serve.
