May 7, 2007 is the day our lives changed and what we have always celebrated as our anniversary, because the day we met it was all over. Even though neither of us were looking for the other at the time, the chemistry between us was unreal, and the connection undeniable, so we had no choice in the matter. If you ask Lauren, she saw fireworks when she kissed Jay for the first time. If you ask Jay, it was the moment their eyes locked that he knew. From that moment on it was figuring out how to spend as many minutes together as humanly possible while Jay toured around the country and Lauren ruled the radio waves. After 16 years together, countless adventures and the coolest kid anyone could ask for; we said our "I Do's" standing next to the bay in Tampa, FL where it all began. To the next chapter!

John Sunderland designed my dream engagement ring! I knew I wanted something untraditional that could incorporate Jay's family diamonds but had no idea where to start. John created this masterpiece that is anchored by a stunning heart-shaped diamond. He even added a pink sapphire on the band to represent our daughter. She smiles every time she looks at it (and so do I!)
