Joe and I have known each other since 2016 but really started talking the following year 2017. When I decided to stay back from college I went back to work at my local Dunkin Donuts. I was surprised to see he was still working there. At first we were just friends hanging out but soon realized we loved each other's company. As our paths of careers ventured into different areas, we knew we had each other to lean on when things got tough. Joe moved away for welding school and I was back home going through nursing school. Through these times we always found time for dates, surprise visits, and phone calls. We knew we couldn’t live without one another and decided to move in together. Soon after he took me ring shopping to find the perfect setting and I had him choose the center diamond. We started looking in early 2023 and not knowing he bought the ring and hid the ring box in his computer. He decided to propose on my family's yearly Arkansas trip in a gazebo with just us and my family. It was simple and perfect! When it came down to the wedding, we knew we wanted something smaller and meaningful. We decided to elope at City Hall and run around downtown with a photographer. Afterwards we had a 60 person dinner/drinks wedding celebration to celebrate with some friends and family.
